Solutions grow through dialogue.
Listening with giraffe ears.
Patronus stands for modern legal counsel and a strategic approach to conflict resolution.
The focus is not on escalation, but on outcomes — clear, efficient and sustainable.
Pathways to Resolution:
Employment Law
Patronus stands for modern legal counsel in employment law and a consistently solution-oriented approach to conflict resolution.
The legal advice is tailored to companies, executives, works councils and employees facing complex employment law matters — clearly structured and with a consistent focus on efficient outcomes.
The approach goes beyond traditional legal representation: conflicts are viewed not only from a legal perspective, but also through a strategic and human lens. Sustainable solutions emerge where law, negotiation and understanding come together.
Whether dealing with dismissals, agreements, works council matters, internal disputes or structural challenges, support is provided with precision, foresight and the aim of avoiding unnecessary escalation.
Immigration Law
Patronus stands for clear and structured legal advice in immigration law.
Support is provided to international professionals, students, families and companies in all matters relating to residence and visa in Germany — with a particular focus on efficient and legally secure procedures.
The approach combines legal precision with a practical understanding of administrative processes and individual circumstances. The aim is not only to ensure legal compliance, but also to make procedures as smooth and efficient as possible.
Particular support is provided in applications for residence permits — including for studies, employment and family reunification — as well as matters relating to naturalisation and citizenship.
Even in more complex situations, advice is provided in a structured and solution-oriented manner, with the aim of navigating bureaucratic challenges effectively.
Administrative Law
Decisions taken by public authorities can have significant implications for businesses, professional activities and private matters. Patronus provides support in the legal review of administrative measures and in the enforcement of rights vis-à-vis public authorities — both out of court and before the administrative courts.
The advice particularly covers legal remedies against administrative actions, including objection proceedings, appeals and administrative court litigation. The focus lies not only on the legal assessment of governmental action, but also on strategic and practical solutions.
Patronus supports clients in communication with public authorities, in challenging burdensome decisions and in asserting legitimate claims — with clarity, structure and a focus on sustainable solutions.
Mediation
Not every conflict requires a judgment. But every conflict requires a solution.
Patronus stands for structured, confidential and outcome-oriented mediation in complex conflict situations. Experience from more than 200 mediations has shown that dialogue is often the faster and more sustainable path to resolving disputes.
Mediation offers a different approach: away from escalation, delays and uncertain court decisions — towards solutions that are controlled, sustainable and often significantly more efficient.
The focus is not on enforcing positions, but on developing viable solutions that can be supported by all parties involved. This not only creates legal certainty, but often also lays the foundation for continued cooperation.
The mediation process follows a clear structure in which interests are identified, perspectives are understood and solution options are developed in a targeted manner. Particularly in sensitive conflicts — for example between employers and executives, or within teams — mediation enables a professional and respectful resolution.
The decisive advantage: time, costs and reputational risks are significantly reduced — while achieving a higher level of satisfaction for everyone involved.
Mediation is not the “softer” solution. It is often the strategically wiser one.
About Patronus
Patronus was founded by Priscila Luz Barreiros, LL.M. — lawyer, certified mediator and lecturer with a focus on employment law, administrative law and alternative dispute resolution.
After studying law in Frankfurt, completing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and qualifying as a certified mediator, she decided to establish Patronus in order to combine the elements of traditional legal practice with mediation.
The focus lies on clear communication, efficient processes and sustainable solutions — both in legal practice and in the sharing of knowledge.
